Classic Car Club of America
A CCCA Classic is a “fine” or “distinctive” car constructed in America or abroad and created between 1915 and 1948, according to the Classic Car Club of America.
The CCCA is committed to preserving and promoting the use of a select group of automobiles that “are distinguished by their respective fine design, high engineering standards, and superior workmanship.” In addition, a car’s engine displacement, unique coachwork, and opulent extras like power brakes, power clutch, and “one-shot” or automated lubrication systems all contribute to whether it qualifies as a CCCA Classic. These vehicles “represent the peak of engineering, style, and design for their day,” according to the authors.
