Synology RT2600AC Wireless Router Setup
Before going for the setup, make sure that you have finalized the Synology hardware installation by adjusting all four antennas to the vertical direction, positioning the device, and then connect your device to the PC. Ensure that your internet connection is running in a smooth manner. Your PC should be connected to the Synology router network.
Open The Web Browser
On your PC browser, type router.synology.com and hit enter. You can also type an IP address instead of its website. The blue lightning page will open when connected. Hit the start icon for the setup wizard. The next interface with Setup as an admin account will open. On that, type username and passphrase twice to confirm it. On the bottom, the passphrase indicator shows the strength of the passphrase. The red light on the indicator shows that the password is weak while the green shows a strong password. Tick mark the license and agreement and click next.
Setup WiFi Network
The next interface with WiFi network setup will appear. Now fill in the username and passphrase. Choose the current location of your network and click next. The operation mode select window will open next. Choose operation mode for the router and disable external access to SRM. Enabling it will offer access to the SRM using HTTPS only. Now choose the connection type from manual IP, Auto IP, and PPPoE. When you hit the apply icon, the percentage will start indicating the setup of your device procedure. It will take 3 to 5 minutes to complete the setup. After the setup is completed, click start managing now.

The router may not work or many problems may occur if you are using a router. The best solution for the router, if it is not working properly, is to reset the device. Resetting the device is straightforward. You need needle-type equipment to reset it. Push the equipment into the reset hole for 8 to 10 seconds and wait for the LED light to glow up. Stop pressing the equipment now. The Synology router will reboot by itself after a few seconds. After two minutes of restarting, you can now set up the device again.
