The hill is part of Western Ghats and is best for beginners in trekking as the difficulty level in trekking is easy. It is at the height of 1748 meters above sea level. Best time to explore this place is during the rainy monsoon and chilling winters. It is endowed with Sholas hence a best place to witness fog and mist amidst evergreen forest.
