The indications for this drug are.
– Treatment.

Do not take CYTOTEC 200 mcg divide tablets if:
- you are allergic to misoprostol, other prostaglandins or any of the ingredients of this product liste in section 6.
- – You are a woman of childbearing age and are not using an effective method of birth control to prevent pregnancy (see “Pregnancy” for more information).
- – If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, or have a negative pregnancy test, as this may result in a miscarriage (see “Pregnancy” for more information).

Warnings and Precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using CYTOTEC 200 mcg Slant Tube abortion pill if
- – If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant (see “Pregnancy” below). CYTOTEC should be discontinue immediately because of the risk to the unborn child.

Warnings
CYTOTEC (misoprostol) is contraindicate during pregnancy. Use of this abortion pill may result in miscarriage, birth defects, fetal death, and premature birth. Uterine rupture and bleeding have been report with CYTOTEC 200 micrograms taken intravaginally.
Precautions
Treatment with misoprostol should be initiate in women of childbearing age only if pregnancy has been rule out. It is important to use effective contraception during treatment. If pregnancy occurs during treatment, misoprostol therapy should be discontinue.
You should be alert for symptoms of stomach and duodenal problems while taking NSAIDs. Therefore, your doctor may ask you to have regular check-ups to check your digestive system.
Special monitoring is recommend for patients who are at risk of diarrhea or dehydration.
How to reduce:
To reduce the risk of diarrhea, the abortion pill should be taken with food.
Misoprostol should be use with caution in medical conditions where low blood pressure may cause serious complications.
Serious life-threatening cardiovascular events (myocardial infarction and/or coronary artery spasm and/or stroke) have been report with the use of prostaglandins, including misoprostol, especially at high doses. Cardiovascular risk factors (especially long-term or recent smoking) should be taken into account.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you may become pregnant, or if you plan to have children, check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy
Do not take CYTOTEC if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant; your doctor will explain the risks of pregnancy to you as CYTOTEC can cause miscarriage, premature birth and birth defects.
